The Mind in Motion Intensive is a five-day, small-group educational therapy program designed to help students build the executive functioning skills they need for a successful school year.
Throughout the week, students will learn practical strategies for organization, planning, time management, task initiation, studying, flexible thinking, self-advocacy, and managing academic responsibilities. Every lesson is hands-on and immediately applicable to school.
Each student receives:
A comprehensive Executive Function Workbook
Personalized strategy recommendations
A daily take-home summary
Parent resources to support carryover at home
A follow-up parent consultation after the program concludes
Students leave with systems they can begin using on the very first day of school.
-
Getting started is simple.
Register online to reserve your student's spot.
Complete the intake forms and questionnaire.
Receive a welcome packet with everything you'll need before the first day.
Attend the program and watch your child build skills, confidence, and independence.
Enrollment is intentionally limited to maintain a highly individualized experience.
-
Most academic programs focus on what students learn.
Mind in Motion focuses on how they learn.
Rather than reteaching school content, students develop the executive functioning skills that make learning more successful across every subject.
As an Educational Therapist, I bridge the gap between assessment recommendations and everyday success. Every strategy taught is evidence-informed, individualized, and designed to be used long after the week ends.
Students don't just leave with new information—they leave with personalized systems they understand and know how to use.
-

Hi, I'm Meg Fischer, MSEd, ET/P.
For more than a decade, I've worked with bright students who know they're capable but struggle with organization, planning, time management, and executive functioning. My goal isn't simply to help students complete homework—it's to teach them how to become more independent, confident learners.
Mind in Motion was created to bridge the gap between knowing what to do and actually being able to do it. Every strategy we practice is designed to carry over into the school year so students leave with systems they can continue using long after the intensive ends.
